Art Historians
Professor Ingleright-Telgenhoff makes her art history classes so engaging that I ended up switching over to art history for a time — and I am still having a hard time staying away from it. She views art from its social context, relating art to its period of time and linking together the social history with the art history — something I think has great relevance. I don’t think its possible to view a person without understanding the context in which he or she was formed, so why should art — an extension of the person who made it — be treated any differently? She has been a great mentor, helping me to understand myself as a person and art historian — in both my strengths and shortcomings.
